Yes. Datacell has a formula engine with A1 cell references, cross-sheet references (Sheet2!A1), ranges (A1:B10), built-in functions (SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, IF, etc.), circular-reference detection, and auto-recalculation through dependency chains.

Yes. The AI chat sidebar streams responses from the Vercel AI Gateway and automatically includes the active sheet excerpt plus any cell selection as context. You can also use Chat actions from the grid context menu (Explain, Summarize, Suggest formulas, Clean).

Yes. Cloud-saved workbooks sync in real time via Yjs CRDT over a WebSocket, with a presence bar showing connected peers and their colors.

Datacell persists workbooks locally in sessionStorage and IndexedDB so reloads and large sheets are instant. Authenticated users can additionally save workbooks to the cloud (Neon Postgres) and load them from any device.

Yes. Datacell has full touch support including drag-to-select ranges, tap-to-edit selected cells, long-press context menus, and enlarged resize handles and headers for coarse pointers.

Yes. Triggers watch a cell or range and run when a condition is met: compare a value against a threshold (>, <, =, not empty) or aggregate a range (sum, average, count, max, min). Actions include setCell, notify, webhook (no-cors POST), and queue-script.

Yes. Every cloud-saved workbook exposes auto-generated CRUD endpoints per sheet (Operations → More → REST API) and supports per-sheet webhooks for row.created, row.updated, and row.deleted events.
